QF6196 AVV-SYD via King Island.
Just a curiousity question..
as mentioned in the title, heard (thence observed via plane plotter) QF6196 (VH-OEB) get clearance from out of Avalon to Sydney via King Island. Is this normal practice for ferry flights? It's a decent detour south.. The aircraft was at cruising level by King Island. as I said... just curious. Regards Paul Mc

Just blowing out the cobwebs and undertaking various performance checks after a long stay at Avalon.
Should reach Sydney approx 1:30pm all going well. Might be worth getting the camera out for its arrival for those near the airport. |
