Spotting at YSSY 17th May 2010
Hey guys,
Here are the best of the photo's that I took yesterday whilst down at the airport. The weather was clearly not the most favourable for photos however I managed to do my best using the camera's different type of settings. Hope you enjoy! (Any constructive criticism is good criticism) |

Damien & Richard,
The CASA aircraft registration database has it down as a Eurocopter EC130B4 (http://www.casa.gov.au/scripts/airsr...ion=2009752272) |

Jayden - What camera, lense and settings were you using, I'm trying to get some ideas for my 50D.
Thanks Darren |

Darren,
All of those photo's I was using my newly acquired Nikon D90 with a simple Nikkor AF-S 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G. I had the camera on the settings of around ISO320, F7.1 & was shooting at around 1/400th. As I said, the weather was pretty poor so I was just basically using different settings in the camera & getting the feel for aviation photography in general to see which settings work & which doesn't in those weather conditions. |

Jayden,
Too much saturation on the magenta in the Emirates A380 , V Aus and Qantas 744. If it looks right on your monitor get your monitor recalibrated. Cheers Beau |
