Hi All,

Aircraft will be back again on Sunday 20th of FEB.
In from Port Headland at 1030L and out at 2230L to MEL.
Its a sunday so if you can make it out will be great. Aircraft then going MEL-PER-CGK.

Was it only the cyclone [Yasi] brewing in the pacific that made that flight delayed ?

WeatherZone says Northerlies blowing up until mid afternoon, so I guess it's possible for 34L

What would be the best vantage points at YSSY? I've never spotted at the actual airport before apart from inside the terminals

Short answer, no. You will get 'hunted away'. There are numerous signs there advising people to keep out.
