Default Formation info

I've be told by several people that they observed a large aircraft with three what looked like FA18s in refueling positions over flying Tamworth at altitude in a northwesterly direction at approx. 10.00hrs today 12/4/2011. not much more info on the larger aircraft, anybody got any clues on what they may have been?

Hi Brian,

You might find it was the Omega Tanker 707 thats currently in Williamtown and has frequently been out flying. Apparently up in Amberly AFB yesterday so i'd put my money on that.
