Default CBR this evening 8/11/11

Hi All! Just wondering if anyone knows what happened with a QF 734 in CBR around 1715L this evening?? I was driving past the airport as it lined up on 35 then taxied down and turned off at either M or G... don't know what happened after that? Thanks!

There was a large band of thunderstorms across Sydney late this afternoon, particularly around 5pm.

There were numerous planes in holding patterns between Sydney and Canberra for around 30 -40 minutes, as well as to the north of Sydney.

Perfect time for it!

I followed one plane's path.. it was a Virgin flight that (I think) did a couple of laps around Goulburn, before heading north over Penrith , then north east to Palm Beach where it did another 3-4 laps, before moving over to Wiseman's Ferry where it did yet another 3-4 laps, before eventually heading south over the outer western suburbs and becoming one of the first to land post storms.

Talk about getting value for money!
