I think I'd rather fly in their A340-600's. 10 abreast in a 777 is criminal.

I flew on B777-300ER, A6-ETK from AUH to LHR and back last week and that was definitely a 3-4-3 configuration ..I understand that all the EY 777's are this configuration . In addition , EY only have one 3 class 777 the moment , and that is A6-ETK , operated exclusively on the AUH -LHR route due to it's 40 business class seating arrangement .

Further to my previous post , we continued our journey from AUH to SYD on a A346 , let me say , a much more comfortable trip , and when traveling with a partner a lot more convenient too with it's 2-4-2 configuration . Perhaps the CEO of Etihad needs to take a long haul flight squeezed into an economy class 777 seat , but that's hardly likely to happen is it ? ..

Did this happen this morning?

EDIT: Just realised the timing. It'll be the "evening" flight. Apologies.

A6-ETK is operating EY454 tonight.

We should be seeing their newly delivered A6-ETL and ETM soon , as their only 3 class 777's in addition to ETK .
