2015 Jamestown Air Spectacular Oct 18
Photos from the 2015 Jamestown air Spectacular.
This is a small show held every three years. It is a small country show held at Jamestown, South Australia approx 250 km north of Adelaide. This year was a mix of World War 2, aerobatic and interesting for me, a couple of eastern european aircraft, the L-39 Albatros and the An-2, which I flew on the day before the main show. A great coverage of the show Ryan, nice to see some close up rotating shots of the light aircraft, loooove the L-39, and it looks like the Extra 300S put on a good show. I have not seen a Marchetti S.211 operating before (just static display), nice catch, and I must mention the Stinson Reliant VH-UXL, isn't that one of the best presented aircraft you will ever see (I had a close look at Avalon some years back). From your beautiful shots, it look like you are positioned close up and with the sun in the right place for the runway shots.
The show seems to be well attended aircraft wise, what sort of crowd numbers does it attract ?

Jamestown
Crowd would have been about the 5000 mark.
