All YI series aircraft are configured for international ops. VUY, VUZ, VOX, VOQ, VUF, VUG are also VH registered aircraft for international ops. VUY & VOX can be used for NZ operations as VOX is the old ZK-PBC. You will find the difference is that most of these aircraft will have stowage mid cabin in the roof for Life Rafts as do all the ZK registered aircraft. I would imagine the YI series gives the flexibility to use them for NZ ops if required.

From Airbus, XFE did break the record for time/distance for a direct flight from Toulouse, France to Melbourne. 20 hours and 36 mins (17,879 km/9,653 nautical miles).

Default ATR72-600

This months copy of Australian Aviation states that VH-FVP (ATR72-600) will become Wategos Beach and is planned for Delivery sometime in August and VH-FVN (ATR72-600) will become Whitehaven Beach, Planned for Delivery in September.
