Non related, but I like the Aer Lingus tail in that Tiger shot, looks like another vintage livery on an A320

The Aer Lingus tail looks amazing!
VH-VNQ will be the rego for this next TT aircraft, and VH-FJR will follow, according to planespotters.net. |

Skyliner reports JQ's latest A332 VH-EBQ as departing Toulouse today (26th) on delivery, direct to Sydney. Estimated en-route time of 19hrs 48mins. This is about 200nm longer than the direct TLS-MEL delivery flights of the early A332's

Just sighted EBQ nr Picton. Making good time for such a long trip and weather situation west of WA.

Talking of Aer Lingus ,this is what the Aer Lingus scheme looked like in the good old days ... A shot from LHR , way back when ...

Dad says he remembers seeing those Aer Lingus 737`s in that scheme at Speke Airport Liverpool in the early 70`s. In fact he logged that one EI-ASA in March 1970 . He thinks they had 8 EI_ASA - H. Plus the B707`s .

Your Dad must be about my age ... The B737 in the shot was taken at LHR around 1976 . The rego was EI-ASK . Your Dad probably remembers they operated BAC111's and Fokker Friendships too around that time , as well as the 707's ... I was a Birmingham Airport spotter way back then , how times have changed !!
