Evening all,
Not Sydney related. but... Just read via http://fnqskies.blogspot.com.au/2013...rrives-in.html RAF Tristar ZE705 arrived into Cairns last night. It is due to depart tomorrow morning at 0800. Not something we see in this part of the world anymore.

Shame it won't head further south!
9V-SRG departed at 1430 yesterday, and it actually stopped raining! Further commentary from people based in Singapore seemed to indicate that it was a training flight as well, with the IFE switched off and limited catering. Still, the ScootBiz passengers would be happy on the inbound, and even the Economy passengers will be happier with wider seats.

Looks like VA are opperating the ATR 72-600 out of Sydney finally with VH-FVP making it's first visit late last month.

For those interested, VH-ZXA leaves SYD for the last time on its ferry flight to the boneyard. It leaves tomorrow at 7am, so if the current weather continues, it won't be a good photo opportunity.
