Mick,
I was lucky enough to get a last minute invite onto the charter in recognition of the work I do for the museum. You should know by now, based on past history, whenever we are both in western Queensland we are destined not to meet! Steve L |

Steve
your paintings are brilliant, I've seen a number of them in the foyer out there, if I have that right. We have some exciting replicas coming up for the future if we can arrange the funding. Other subjects include Armstrong Whitworth FK8, Be2e, DH86, and Shorts S23 Empire. regards Geoff Reichelt |

Thanks Geoff,
Yes I did a series of paintings for the museum on the return of the 707 VH-XBA in 2007 and sell a range of prints and cards through their gift shop. I did a Catalina in anticipation of last year's arrival but of course that aircraft is still in Thailand. See more at www.leadenham.com - obligatory plug . . . . We were all thrilled and amazed at your DH50 and sincerely hope the funding flows through for more replicas of the Qantas iconic aircraft. The Shorts S23 would be something else! Keep up the wonderful work. Steve |
