Does anyone use Mt Isa as an alternate on the 717?

QantasLink/Impulse operated 717s BNE-ISA-BNE in 2003-2004. Never ISA-DRW though.

On a Jetstar flight PER-CNS a fews years a back a passenger took ill and there was 'talk' amounst the cabin crew of a diversion to Mt Isa - I was certainly surprised!
We ended up continuing to CNS in the end... Damian |

The smell could have got stronger and stronger from the nappy and it could have made breathing too difficult for all on board, lucky they diverted the flight and many lives were saved that day.

nappy
Maybe if the nappy was stuck in the toilet, where it could have been a concern over it causing the flush mechanism to overheat and maybe starting a fire like Air Canada 797.
