did some shots a while back on a very hot and hazy day. The digital shots were not the best but the slides came out good.Do not know why but i have had success with the slides even during spotting weekends in Syd with shooting slide film.Seems the digitals magnify the heat haze.

Yet you still see people at the mound etc taking photos across the runways for some unknown reason. As soon as they get home and upload the images you just know how rotten they will look.

The only decent ground shots are of aircraft moving along Charlie. Even that little bit extra distance to Bravo is enough to kill a shot in summer.

How about really really early in the morning in summer - are the shots ok then?

They can be ok, but you better make it REALLY early. Once that sun hits the pavement it's all over.

Well last I looked there is no setting on the camera which overrides the natural forces. And the user is devilishly handsome so it must me mother nature
