NZ don't get 787s until mid-2014 so JQ will have at least 1 before that. Rumour still going that QR will start its 787 PER service before JQ gets the Aussie honours

From what I have been told, NO ground handler wants to touch them, no one has been awarded the contract either...

So ground handlers have the say to what gets serviced at airports then?

flight diverted back after being about 1/4 of the way to MCO.

I somehow don't think he meant bag chuckers. But if Qantas, Aerocare, Menzies, Toll Dnata, Virgin Aust. etc don't think they'll get paid on time for their services, then you could understand their caution. I don't know the history of them in this country, but are they renowned for being 'late' on payments?
