YFE was still all white as of 23 Apr. May yet arrive unpainted.

It would be great if we could have eyes on the ground here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lihue_Airport to confirm.

I just had a thought...

How will the new Virgin Australia 'sneak' the newly painted A330-200 and 737-800 into Australia for the brand reveal on, i assume if it hasn't changed, the 4th of May??? Surely someone will see it...

Also, is it a public event? Or do we have to wait until the 6pm news???

Personally, after reading posts/articles by Will H and a guy from Raydon Designs, i am pretty excited. Should be one good looking fleet of aircraft...

Indeed. Even if the aircraft take off at night, they will be seen.

Temporary decals over the paintjob, which are then removed/cleaned once safely inside a hangar in Australia?

That would mean in some instances a decal over a decal. Messy.

Plus I don't think Virgin is willing to spend the $ for a few extra hours of secrecy.

I do believe that it was the man who posted above you who was responsible for that one...

Oh, and removal decals...sound more like a giant instant scratchie.

Will be very interesting to see.

Sadly, i am in the wrong state to stalk a plane arriving on the east coast.

Alas.
