Gerard, FedEx was the first MD-11 in on Saturday afternoon and from memory had a nice little nose wheel bounce on touchdown from what appeared to be a fast approach. He then got a full length roll through to the cargo apron.

This was the UPS MD-11 landing sequence, plenty of smoke of the starboard main undercarriage.

Thought I would try and work out the angle that the aircraft were pointing into the wind on Saturday afternoon. The scenery in the background of the photographs was not all that helpful on Google Earth, however from the beach to the threshold is around 8 Degrees. As I could see a significant portion of the starboard side of the aircraft, then it may have been as high as 14 Degrees. Open to any other thoughts on this one.

Why was runway 25 not used in this case? Is it closed or was it not used due to noise abatement procedures?

Rwy 25 hasn't been available for the last 6 months due to the RESA works.

There are quite a few threads which detail the extent of the works going on there.
