Benny's has reverse thrust on.

Why not on Andrew's? Not a good idea to deploy it on short final.

Great pics Andrew and Benny! Qantas Drive acctually would have been the better choice because the heat haze was terrible! I dont know how Benny's turned out so good:P

OQA arriving! Second Qantas A380 of the day. Feels good to say that

Has anybody noticed....when Qantas changed their livery a year or so ago they stated one of the reasons was that on the A380 there was a section around where the horizontal stab met the fuselage that could not be painted red/white....and this would have meant the roo's leg was prematurely truncated? In the press-type "photo-illustrations" of the A380 in the "old" livery they showed this area as not being painted....yet since the actual aircraft have arrived in the new livery this section is painted red?

It wasn't necessarily the A380 they were talking about. John Borghetti was purposely non-specific on the type that had that issue, but later hinted that it may be the 787. Plus, I think the main issue was that on some types the roo's leg is split by the stab, so they styled it to come down ahead of the stab.
