Just received an e-mail from another forum.

VH-OQE should be airborne now on its way to SYD.

It was scheduled to leave MEL at 11:10 so will be watching PP.

Thanks Peter, I think the heat haze will beat me today, but I think I'll head down just to keep it 5 for 5 Qantas 380 inaugural landings at YSSY.
