Paul,
To answer your questions, YES Hainan Airlines A346 arrived just after 7am & departed an hour and a half late at 11:30am. Also YES both the B registered Gulfstreams which belong to Deerjet departed today within the space of about 10mins of each other.

Just going through some of my photo's from Sunday and found this.
So I was wondering the following?

1. An A340 isn't big enough to fit all the passengers on this flight?
2. The Pilot asked for help with the map?
3. The Pilot asked for a wombat spotter?
4. To much weight down the back?

What are your thougths?

ChrisP

I can imagine the conversation on the flight deck.......

FO#3 "I can see the Harbour Bridge!"
Capt "Forget the Harbour Bridge - keep a look out for kangaroos"
FO#1&2 "You look right I'll look left"
FO#5,6&7 "There must be lots here - look how many wildlife photographers they have here!"

Seriously reminds me Air China back in the 90s when Tech Crew of 6 would turn up for flight briefing......!

This shot was taken just as the nose wheel touched down and I can see quite a number of faces so it's not like they all rushed the flight deck after landing - how many jump seats must there be up there.....?
