Hi Steve,

VOA, VOC, VBA and VBB are the most recent aircraft to leave over the last 2/3 months. VBC will be around for a while longer too as its getting similar treatment to VBN I believe. ZHB is next to leave on Wednesday.

Hi Tim

I appear to have missed both VH-VOC and -VBA leaving the Virgin Blue fleet. Can you tell me the dates they left, please ?

Thanks in advance.

........the linked article says that -XFA is currently in new livery flying in China for air-to-air filming? Could this be right? Would be hard to hide an A330 with so many cameras around???

Assuming that the international brand will remain V Australia, will its logo also get a facelift similar to the new Virgin Australia logo?
Everyone appears convinced that a deal has not been reached with SQ, however is there a chance that the multiple brands have resulted due to the Polynesian Government not accepting Polynesian Blue to be renamed V Australia? Therefore brands could be Virgin Australia and Virgin Polynesia/Samoa.
Given SQ's impending sale of VS, and the possibility for SQ to partner with VA, I'm unsure how a deal could not be struck. SQ's previous concerns about DJ using the Virgin name overseas whilst being a LCC should surely not be an issue now.
Guess we'll know in 10 days...

If the Polynesian Government, not SQ, was the issue V Australia would become part of Virgin Australia and Polynesian Blue could be left as is or have some other change.

The latest official comment I've read re SQ and VS is that they are not intending to sell their VS stake.

Pretty sure XFA is in the JH hanger at Melbourne. Either that or there is another white A330 sitting around!

This is incorrect. It's in MEL as mentioned.

XFB will be the first one in the new paint. Its in Subang, Malaysia.

Guys/Gals. There is no 'Polynesian' Goverment as such. Polynesia covers an area larger than Australia & includes multiple countries & territories, including NZ.

Just for the record!
