Default Forum Moderator stranded by delayed aircraft!

This from www.partlytrue.com.au

Quote:
Sydney Airport Message Board Forum Moderator, Kurt Ams, is reportedly stranded at Sydney's International Airport due to a broken down aircraft. Mr Ams was reportedly going on a dare-devil cheap-***** holiday to Europe.

QANTAS engineers are attending to the stricken China Eastern beast, but $15 food vouchers for a food court in Guangzhou have been handed out by airline staff to appease passengers during the extended delay.

"They've told us there is an engineering issue" Mr Ams was quoted as saying in a phone call. "I can see the QANTAS engineers working on the APU (anti-personnel unit), but so far they have had no luck, as the baggage handlers can still get near the plane".

"I'm worried that with this delay the Message Board will be running riot. I imagine it will be even worse over the next 3 weeks that I'm gone".

The delay is continuing.

If this had of been a QF flight. I'd give it an hour or two before it turns up on News Ltd.'s website.

How can you publish such inaccurate information.

Nowhere does it mention in the article that the said Mr Ams was screaming and panacking, and you also omited that he feared for his life!! Dont forget that he is going to sue, and that he will never fly again as the experience was too terifying. There is a lack of mention that because the issue is being rectified by Qantas enginers, that it will also suffer a hydraulic failure, run out of coffee, fuel and pringles, and that passengers will be terrorised by repeats of Titanic in Chinese with Subtitles.

Don't worry - China Eastern will make sure the news story never sees the light of day and that the mischeivous foreign reporter that tried to file it will turn up accidentally drowned in the Yangzee River ...

Ahh good, Amsy's away and Will's on a trip. Two left, and they never do anything anyway.

I can report that the flight left after a lengthy delay at 1527.
It is unknown if Mr Ams was still looking for somewhere to spend his $15 Guangzhou food voucher, or if he actually caught the flight.
