VP-CBH was parked at Tamworth
Is the runway & facilities at Tamworth that large to accomodate an MD-80
I thought the runway was only just long enough for a Dash 8

Tamworth main runway (12L/30R) 2200 x 45 mtr.

Pretty sure the East-West F28's operated there but could be wrong.

Yes Peter EWA f28s did operate from Tamworth and it also see's Qantas 737s quite regularly for fuel when things go pear shaped in Brisbane or Sydney also RAAF bbj's are regular visitors.

And I forgot to mention the two or three C17 visits most weeks, only do goarounds off an ils approach and sometimes some circuits and goarounds, but all good entertainment for the locals.
