Default Disabled ACFT - VH-VHP

Last Thursday just around curfew time I noticed that 34L/16R was closed due disabled acft. I jumped in the car to see what was going on, and sure enough VHP was being very slowly towed off the runway. The recovery and rwy closure took around 90 minutes from what I can figure.

An Inbound Toll BAE146 had to hold, and an outbound Toll BAE146 was delayed due to the closure.

It appears to be a failed right tyre on the main landing gear from what I could see, but there might be more to the story.

Excuse the img quality, I took the tripod but forgot the head

Nothing more to it, just a blown tyre. Rwy was closed for 45 mins.

The 146's are operated by National Jet Express for AAE, not Toll.
