I had a quick look to see if the glider had been placed on the Australian registry, but its serial number wasn't there. Its Schleicher model and serial number suggests it's a 2011 motorised glider, so it may have just been imported and is yet to receive a local registration.
Interestingly, Australia is home to the Schleicher glider with serial number 01 (Model KA-1). It's a 1952 edition, VH-GEI.

Looks like VH-SQY will be living at Wagga, currently parked in the general aviation area down near the Aero Club (which has been relocated down to a road off Elizabeth Ave).
Also picked up two more gliders, one with ADSB and the other is just MODE S. The other glider was also back in the air today, seems that two at least are based in Corowa. Rego ICAO24 D-KFEN 3E6999 (ADSB) PH-1467 484D08 (ADSB) PH-1234 484BDA (MODE S) |

Looks like there's a pre-world junior gliding championship being held at Narromine early next month, so this would explain the internationals regos. http://glidingaustralia.org/GFA/joey...re-worlds.html

Sorry to bump this old topic back-up but found the website of the gliders that I've been picking up!
