EK419 and MH141 have diverted to MEL due weather in SYD.

2118 QF32 is descending through 9000ft at 261kts on approach to Melbourne.

Plenty of holding at the moment :-

DJ889 from Melbourne
DJ885 from Melbourne
CX139 from Hong Kong
Thai 471 from Bangkok
QF582 from Perth
DJ540 from Coolangatta
JQ825 from Brisbane

1826 The intense storm cell has now pass thought the airport and heading out to sea. Wind is now 140 at 10kts.

DJ881 is now heading in

Has definitely been interesting listening to the frequencies tonight. Love the calm assertiveness of the Adelaide bound Qantas pilots trying to get out of there to make curfew in Adelaide

Tasman 1, the DHL 757 returned to NZAA, I'm guessing due to the WX at YSSY.
