Cheers Geoff!

All good!

We're still no closer to purchasing tickets than a few days ago but I hope we get that together soon. I'll have to kick some butts over here to ensure we're able to attend this year!

Cheers,

Dan

I have seen a couple of ads on TV for the show in recent days, heavily promoting the anniversary. I can't remember seeing ads for any previous airshow.

DC-4 is still on the official list - where are you getting your information?

Anyways ... I'll be flying down to MEL on DJ on the 4th and staying in the city for three nights, flying back on the 7th. Will probably catch the V-Line into the show. Got a Gold Pass for the Saturday.

Actually, I think they meant DC-6 (which I took it as). Where would a flying DC-4 come from, when a DC-6 was due to be in the country and attending anyway?

In regards to the DC-6 not coming see http://www.yesteryearaviation.com.au/

Torin, I believe HARS (Historical Aircraft Restoration Society) operates and owns A DC-4.

There s a DC4 (C54 ) based at Wollongong Airport , and belonging to HARS . I assume this is the DC4 as expected to appear .

Well in that case, fair enough, and sweet.

The HARS website doesn't list it as a flying aircraft however, but may just be out of date I guess.
