And if QF and DJ were the same price (once you include a bag and food) I would definately choose Virgin as the quality of the food offering (for the same price) would exceed that of QF.

I flew VB this morning PER-MEL and tried the Banana bread & Luke Mangan juice and they were really tasty. They also had an additional item that was not on the menu - ice cream sandwich. Not the best in terms of calories (!)but absolutely delicious. I think it will be the runaway winner on the new menu.
Also good to see some of the old favourites such as cheese and crackers and nuts have stayed. |

I seem to recall something similar with Qantas when they introduced the Morrissey uniforms back in '03. Something about the dresses being a fire hazard...

Makes me wonder if any airline can launch something new or fresh without any of the media using words such as problem, troubled or hazard. Just seems to me out of alot of the positive announcements by airlines they are usually followed by a negative story.

Crews are having irritation problems. It's not with everyone and whether it's a permanent issue or something that goes away with washes and skin adjusting is yet to be seen.
As for the uniform design, I've heard it's actually more flexible in allowing crews to reach up to bins, etc. |

PB domestic
i flew home to adelaide from melbourne on flight DJ227 today and it was on VH-VUN, a pacific blue aircraft with the horrid ''airline of virgin blue'' titles on the sides. I was surprised to see it operating domestically. I couldn't see VH-XFA anywhere though. VUY was there and VUZ was yesterday. Anyone know info on VUN or XFA???

VUN and VUF have been operating domestically for the last week from my viewpoint.
As for XFA, she might be in the hangars? |
