Arsenal FC arrived at Sydney Airport early this morning, ahead of matches against Sydney FC on the 13th July, and the Western Sydney Wanderers on the 15th July, both at ANZ Stadium.

Emirates B77L A6-EWJ touched down on Runway 34L, rolling through and vacating at Foxtrot. After parking at Bay 5 on the Cargo Apron, the Team were bused to the Terminal where a large group of fans were waiting to greet them.

The aircraft was then towed to the KILO Apron.

Yesterday's brief visitor Corporate Aircraft Charter (VH-URU) Beechcraft B200 Super King Air

Today!
Royal Australian Air Force (A9-662) Lockheed AP-3C Orion made a missed approach, two flyovers and a dirty pass.

Royal Australian Air Force (A97-440) Lockheed Martin C-130J Hercules visited for the morning and early afternoon for the recruits to tour and a short flight over the city

Next inline for paint is Royal Australian Air Force (A97-448) Lockheed Martin C-130J Hercules!

And yep, Connie is still here!

All the times it visits, it doesn't need fuel (daylight hours), night or arrives unexpectedly (no chance for me to setup) but finally got a photo, even though I needed ISO 3200 *shudder* (had no tripod with me)

A few new Qantas livery title belly shots from VH-VXM's return flight from Alice Springs to Sydney today - Runway 07 ops after a change from 16.

Great photos of the new livery! Pity the new roo QantasLink livery doesn't have "QantasLink" on the belly.

Yesterday's departure of Network Aviation (VH-NHP) Fokker 100, in new QantasLink "new roo" livery (more photos in the New Qantas branding thread)

Spotted the Royal Australian Air Force (A34-007) Alenia C-27J Spartan this afternoon and took a chance to head out to the airport, lucky I did!

Royal Australian Navy (A49-049) Bell 429 Global Ranger made a very brief stop over at the RAAF Base, hard getting a photo of it departing.

The Herc certainly needs a paint job.

Didn't the RAAF have a paint shop at Richmond to do the Hercs & Caribous etc ?

I think most of the painting now is done by contractors with some painting done at Amberley and Williamtown (for the Hawks and F/A 18 Hornets/Super Hornets).

Looks like Airbus Group Australia Pacific has re-tendered its painting contract, which Douglas Aerospace won. Flying Colours Aviation had the contract from 2014 it seems.

New South Wales Police Force PolAir6 (VH-DVV) Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX made a brief visit due for a operation in WGA this afternoon. Cloud was an issue for its arrival but cleared for the departure.

Royal Australian Air Force (A37-003) CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 made a brief stop also, this time for fuel before heading back home to CBR.

REX (VH-RXN) Saab 340B taxiing in the late afternoon light

QantasLink (VH-QOU) Bombardier DHC-8-402Q in the last remaining sunlight
