Are these missed approaches still booked for breaching curfew?

Of course not. The aircraft has had to do them in order to NOT breach curfew, or for a safety reason (ie unable to land on 34).

The question was a serious one - I remember the uproar in the mid-90s when a BA flight did a missed approach at around 5.30am and was fined.

I just don't know whether the rules have been changed.
