Default Mystery aircraft sighting? BNE 20/5 1800

whilst in the supermarket car park in the Petrie area this evening I saw an aircraft which appeared to be long no wing mounted engines and a T-tail flying towards Rwy 14. I was thinking Mad Dog because it seemed to quiet to be a 727. It seemed too long to be a Fokker 100 but I wouldn't be surprised If it was because I couldn't imagine what a Mad Dog would be doing down here. This spot on 6 pm.

G'day Jason,

No idea what it was because I didn't see it, this could perhaps be the mystery beast you saw. It passes in and out of Brisbane on a regular basis.

It's the Mineralogy MD-82.

Morrell, you owe me for the complimentary plug!
