Got down as low as 375 ft according to PlaneFinder at the time... This time they did the fly-by in a gear-down config... And a lot more time spent doubling-back over the track than the A380 last year.

I was watching the TV coverage of this, they didn't even show it!
They showed about 2 seconds of it on approach, another shot where you could hear but not see the aircraft, and about 2 seconds of it leaving. Not happy! |

I saw 10's "coverage" - fair dinkum, poor camera angles except for the overhead shot, but then having some guy interviewing people all through it and only showing a few seconds. It can't be that difficult to show it for 60 seconds?

I was lucky enough to be under it and it was the most impressive commercial-jet flyby i've seen - at least 3 loops in various configurations.

375ft it would have flown into the highrises that are around that area, maybe 1375ft.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5itrXhqZxcA not a good video but the title made me smile i wish it was 375ft |

Ah yes Paul, didn't really think about that altitude realistically as I typed it - 375 METRES is what I would have seen on PlaneFinder. And attached here is a screenshot of its path as mapped by WebTrak - and it shows an altitude of approx 370 m.
