Default Qantas 747 VH-OJA

Just wondering if Qantas' first 747 VH-OJA is still getting round? I haven't seen it for ages and there's been no new photo's in any of the big databases.

Yes she's still around . It's been operating the QF25/26 on the MEL-AKL-MEL and rtn and also the QF15/16 lately . From the 29/11 to 11/12 it was operating the QF5/6 . At the moment it's at LAX after operating the QF15 from BNE .

I believe the first 747 was a 747-238B delivered as VH-EBA in 1971

Correct.

EBQ was the first Qantas 747-238B with Rolls Royce Engines.

She has the distinction of being the one and only 747 to have ever flown LHR-SYD non stop ..
