Here's what VH-NRF looks like when it's the right way up:

It's an Archer II, described on another website as "luxuriously fitted out for cross country use".

...and recently fitted out with all natural airconditioning.

But seriously....lucky, lucky people to have walked away from that. Reports also suggested a poodle walked away from the accident...did the cage break open?

From memory VH-NRF and VH-NRB used to be in the flight line at Schofields by some type of cross-hire arrangement. I've done quite a few hours in each of them...

I know the owner of this aircraft and flew it many times while it was on the flight line at Schofields. It was a nice aircraft to fly, in good condition and well equipped, a real shame to loose it. Thankfully all on board made it out ok.

NRF was purchased from the USA in 2007 (ex N8181W), re-ssembled in Moorabbin and then ferried up to Bankstown. After Schofields it was on the flightline with BASAIR for a short while then finally with Sydney Aviators.

Here are two of the images from the USA when it was on the market.

VH-NRF at Bankstown on 1st November 2008
