UA SYD-LAX SUN 16/03 - Why didn't it depart?

My aunty was on the flight, they boarded, sat on the Tarmac till 5pm then got booted off, no free accommodation or meal tickets.

Seems pretty lousy by UA.

Anybody know why the flight was cancelled?

N175UA just departed as UA9795 to LAX; presume this is your delayed flight!

Yep that's the delayed flight, trying to figure out why yesterday's flight never left.

the 744 probably went u/s.. anyhow if your aunty lives in Sydney chances are they won't provide free accomodation or meal vouchers. Probably will be given a cabcharge voucher though

for overseas pax who don't live in SYD - accomodation will be provided.
