Qantas used to do its painting in-house but OH&S meant the end of it at the Jet Base. One recalls the the original Wunala Dreaming (VH-OJA) was painted into the special livery at Mascot.

Oops! Sorry, my bad. I should have written VH-OJB - how could I be so wrong?

VZW will operate QF71 before positioning to XSP for painting on Friday with VZR returning from paint the same day.

Meanwhile TQY will return Saturday with SBG taking up the spot in the TSV hangar

As of 10 November there are 10 QantasLink aircraft that have the "new/silver roo" livery (not included those in paint). Interesting that only one Q400 has been done so far, know of a few more that could do with a paint!

Q300 - 7
SBB, SBT, SBV, TQE, TQH, TQY, TQZ

Q400 - 1
QOA

F100 - 2
NHP, NHQ

VZO will ops QF71 on Thursday and enter the paint hanger with VZW returning as QF72.

SBJ will swap on the 17th with I would assume SBJ or SCE

Looks like still no word on when VYF, VYI, VYJ, VYK & VYL will be repainted as they are still in the old livery & looking very tired.
