Default Iraqi PM to visit Australia

Just read that the Iraqi PM will arrive in Australia on Wednesday. Does anyone know what aircraft or city he will land at. The article also mentioned J Rudd will host a dinner in Parliament during his stay ( most likely land in the ACT).

Iraq Airways does have a A300 YI-APX that they use for GVT ops. It is a sole AIrbus not sure if thay will use it.

Honestly, who cares about the maths test. It's not important.

Apparently Tim is a maths wiz and he wouldn't want any special government plane to stop him from achieving a band 6 in maths.

News Report

Quote:
Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has postponed his visit to Australia so he can continue discussions with Washington over a controversial security deal, his office said.

Maliki was to visit Australia this month.

"The visit was postponed following a request by Maliki," his office said on Sunday in a statement.

Washington and Baghdad are currently negotiating a security deal that would set terms for the future presence of American forces in Iraq after the UN mandate expires in December 2008.

A parliamentary official told AFP that Maliki and other top Iraqi leaders were to meet late Sunday to discuss the latest draft of the agreement.
