Qantas Flight to Fiji tonight

I flew into Sydney this evening on a Qantas domestic flight from Melbourne (QF 462, VH-OGN). During the taxi in to the terminal the flight attendant said that "as this aircraft will be operating to Fiji please make sure that you take all belongings with you"...a second later she said "serious". I figured it must be an extra service to rescue stranded tourists in Fiji. True enough, on getting home and checking the Sydney Airport departures there is a QF6003 and a QF 6021 listed at departing from Sydney at 2.30am (another dispensation no doubt). Would that be one plane, 2 flight numbers?
