Default SAA to replace fleet by 2020

i didnt think that this would be happening so quickly.

Yikes! One manufacturer to replace their entire narrowbody and widebody fleet. Looks like Airbus will be the favourite here. A320s for the narrowbody fleet, and probably a mix of A350 -800, -900 and -1000 aircraft for their widebody fleet.

Just curious though, I know there's some issue with 77Ws operating out of JNB. Something to do with the airport's altitude. Could anyone provide a bit more 'scientific' explanation for this ? ... and also if the 787 and A350 would suffer the same problem since they are also long-range twins?
