Just a heads up for those going there this afternoon, Connie VH-EAG has just departed for Avalon.
I can literally still hear the sound of round as she disappears over the escarpment as I type this.

Hi Mick B

According to several of my friends who have been spotters for many, many years and are at the Show for the duration, the RAAF's KC-30A (KC30B ?) was definitely NOT there on Wednesday and is unlikely to appear.

Perhaps you may have been confused by the Omega DC10 tanker which is supporting the F/A18Fs. I understand that is on static display.

Sorry Bob your 100% correct. Year I though you meant the DC-10 that arrived. I was there today and I did not see the KC-30

The highlight of the day was getting a personalised tour inside the Wedgetail AEW&C. Unfortunately, I was caught up with too much work stuff. I'll be heading back on Sunday with my three boys, they are really looking forward to it.

Great photos Ray. Where abouts did you get EBU? I have an idea of where it is parked but is it in any good viewing for a decent photo? I REALLYY want to get some sort of photo of her.
