Tiger and Jetstar is it worth it?
I am traveling to Darwin via Brisbane in July and been my first flights by myself I thought I most make the most of it. I plan on traveling on the 10/07/10 which is a day Tiger have a flight departing Canberra in the morning to Melbourne where I would then spend the day spotting before geting on a Jetstar flight t Brisbane. My question is, is this worth it, the other option I have is to go with Qantas through Sydney for the same price.

TT & JQ or QF
Same price. No contest.

Yeah, I definitely agree with Rhys. If they are the same price, go with Qantas.

There is a $20 difference in favor of the budgets.

I can change it if I want, I haven't booked yet, I think I will go that way anyway because then I can fly every major airline in Australia. I haven't been on an A320 since early 2000 so looks like a ride on one is in order because I was only 5 then and I cant remember any of it.

For 20 bucks take QF yuo are fed and watered and would cost you a lot more on the LCC,s

Take the QF flights - if Tiger cancel or delay such that you miss the Jetstar flight then your Jetstar ticket will be no use to you.

Once the aircraft is off the ground the service on TT is no different to JQ or Virgin. It's only a question of which day the TT flight gets off the ground.

hahahaha!
Zac, I would take Qantas considering how many legs are involved. Considering your age (nothing personal, I'm only 18 myself!) it would be best, as there is a chance you could be stranded with little help if you took the LCC option. At least with QF they will help out in the proper manner and you won't have to be out of pocket hundreds of dollars booking other flights (which unless you have a decent amount of cash on you, will be difficult if you do not have a credit card).
