Default CX 747-8F 'Hong Kong Trader' due in SYD Sunday

I searched, but couldn't find any other reference to this movement...

The first-ever 747-8F aircraft is planned to arrive SYD on Sunday afternoon as CX021. STA is 17:05. At the moment, the aircraft is planned to be the 'Hong Kong Trader' livery.

Happy spotting people!

Next one is planned for Tuesday.

R

Looking at the Schedules Oliver it should continue down to Melbourne. ETA should be 1415LT.

Arrived at 1651 Rwy 16R. Parked on Bay 5.

Now for the 40-odd photos...

Boy she looked stunning!

Very quiet too, idle reverse thrust I believe? I also heard on the scanner that they couldn't take the rapid exit on 16R, does anyone know why?

1920 departure.

Perhaps they were carrying too much speed to commit to the rapid exit? Alfa-4 is certainly suitable for Code F aircraft.

Is this the first B747-8 visit to SYD?
