Default Runway 34L Closed Temporarily

The tower just notified aircraft that Runway 34L was closed because a Boeing 767 with a broken tow bar is infringing the runway.

1850 Tower has sequenced EK419 for runway 34L as they hope it will be open again by the time they are on downwind.

1852 Runway 34L now open again.

OGT was the bird being towed I believe, but in all seriousness it was only a snapped towbar...hardly a rare occurance.
