Default Weather conditions evening of 31/08/08

Am wondering what the weather conditions at Sydney airport were yesterday evening (31/08/08) at the time when QF580 was supposed to land ? They said it was holding over Sydney due to bad weather and then diverted to Canberra. Was that due to 22/30kts wind or bad visibility ?

Siggy

What time was it supposed to arrive?

There was a frontal system with isolated CB's pass through around 1700-1800. Perhaps this may have been a factor?

It was expected to land at 18:15, so that may explain it. Just wasn't obvious from what the BOM shows. Thanks.
