If you have a look at my photos on the link below ( it's on page number 2) Peter I have a photo of that aircraft with a different rego. It has the same colour scheme anyway.

Just found a very poor negative scan showing a Hawaiian Tristar at the IT along with an Air Pacific B747-200 and PAL DC10. Taken from the old Ansett terminal with lot of reflection.

I remeber a cathay tri-star down at avalon for quite a while with it's rear end hanging out of one of chook shed's down there i've been wondering for while why it was there,can anyone help me out ?

Hi Jaryd,
I'm not 100% sure but remember a while ago I read somewhere a Cathay Pacific Lockheed Tristar was sent to Avalon to be scrapped. It was a one off event.

VR-HOF was broken up at Avalon about 1995.
