Default First United 744 in new livery

United’s first 744 entered the paint shop yesterday to get the new livery with Continental tail. Should be out in about two weeks and then you could see it in SYD/MEL anytime after that. Just a heads up for those wanting get some new livery pic’s.

Cheers,

Ben

Thanks Ben, any idea which one?

I have been catching up on snapping the United 744's by changing to afternoon visits to SYD lately. With up to 3 a day over the holiday period I now have photos of 12 machines I never had before! I only wish I had taken more photos of the previous schemes!

Hi Peter,

N127UA is the first to get the new paint.

Not sure if you have 171 (the oldest) yet, but it's headed that way today. It hasn't been down there for quite a while.

Cheers,

Ben

A tiny bit off topic but when I was recently in Toyko I saw 3 of the new 777's in the new livery and I have to say they looked better than I thought they would.

That looks really good, the colours certainly suit the 744, the United titles just look out of place.
