I noted on FR24 VH-ZPJ flying into Abu Dhabi (assumed) yesterday evening. Shouldn't be too far away from returning to Australia!

VH-VUR appears to be the next one for a repaint in Townsville positioning up from Brisbane at the moment as VA9947.

Today 31/7 at the CHC No.1 hanger there is 3 Virgin 737s one in new livery with scaffold all over it and two are in old Virgin Blue colours and one is with the fin removed. Sorry I not have any of the regos only for the NZ 733 NGJ which is in front.

VOL and VOM are there, I don't know if they are rejoining the fleet or going end-of-lease; YIR there very briefly, due back to take me to Bali in the morning!

Was the whole fin off or just the rudder? Whole fin would be very unusual.

Both VOL and VOM are owned by Virgin Australia.

Yes whole fin off except for the base support on the fuselage its a major repair job. I heard it will be at CHC for a long time, but I'm not sure that it will get painted here as well though. YIR must have gone back as down to two frames until the next one comes over. Sometimes I even see a JQ 320 in the Air NZ No.1 Hanger too.

Thank you.
