767s use to operate WLG trans tasman flights in the 1980-90s with no problem, it is only long haul flights that can't operate from WLG's short runway.

Evening all,

China Airlines will be the 1st A350 carrier to Sydney. They will also increase to double daily and have ceased the Auckland and Christchurch tag on (from Sydney)

This is a huge increase in capacity for China Airlines. I wonder if the second daily flight is seasonal from December until the end of March, 2018.
