Yep, its Vijay Mallya's, he owns and is team principal of Force India F1.

Probably in Sydney on business, he will be of to Malaysia as soon as possible - probably tomorrow, as their is a race on this weekend.

And i do remember that a380 doco...mr airbus salesman felt defeated

I could be wrong but was just about to shut down my computer for the night and caught KFR11 on PP heading out over Bathurst and heading west. Looks like he left tonight. No rego on PP either.
Can anyone confirm?

Sure can

Webtrak showed KFR11 A319 departing about 2250 local, headed to HKT.

A google showed that the A319 is capable of both HKT and KUL as a destination from sydney, but great circle says that HKT is about 800km further than KUL.

Is there any reason to go to HKT instead of KUL (in terms of parking for over a week etc)? Or perhaps he is just headed there for some more business.

He might be trying to flog some of his Kingfisher beer while he's here. Wouldn't want to miss an opportunity to cash in on the famous Aussie thirst for the amber liquid. Especially Rugby league players (as with recent news)

Having arrived in Melbourne direct from Mumbai, Phuket is certainly not a problem! He's probably gone for some r'n'r!
