VAU1 heading for BNE
Just noticed on PlanePlotter that VAU1 (VH-VOZ) is heading for Brisbane.
My SBS log shows it leaving SYD at around 8:15 pm. Anybody heard anything? Peter |

Didn't return to SYD due curfew, must have dumped a bit of fuel.

According to my SBS-1 radar,
It has not departed Brisbane as of yet. More then a medical diversion in my opinion. if anyone knows what the reasoning behind this is and could let us know that would be great! Cheers Matt |

Security Issue.
Bag had to come off that should have been left behind in SYD. Expensive Diversion for 1 bag |

Could have been worse - if the bag didn't come off and the TSA in the US found out it would have been a big fine and a possible review of VAU into the US.
The right course of action was taken, I believe. |
