Default Constellation Coastal In Sydney

The HARS Constellation just flew past Mona Vale tracking coastal and south at 1500ft or less.

Sounded beautiful.

I didn't need ACARS for this one Adam, it flew past my window so low they could have handed me a message.

So, Grahame, when can we expect to see some photos, or were you in a bit of shock with it all and by the time you realised, it had gone??? lol

You live in a building up to 1500' high?

When I think about it, we are about 300ft above sea level and the Connie was only slightly above my eyeline looking straight out to see, range less than 500m. It was probably more like 800-1000ft, and my wife, who was shopping in Mona Vale at the time, also commented on how low it was. She knows what 1500ft looks like because I always fly directly overhead our house when I do a Harbour Scenic.

I said 1500ft or lower because it appeared to come from overhead Mona Vale and then out over the beach, so this would be the requirement until off the coast.

It departed Wollongong sometime around 1330.

I was at the golf driving range getting some much needed practice in for tomorrows 2nd YSSY Message Board Golf Day when it flew low (1000-1500') over the driving range at Windang.

I have some very long range shots of her flying low over Botany Bay/Botany Heads. Not the best shots thought even at 500mm.
